Kate Shipley – Associate

Kate has six years of experience in higher education and student affairs, working with students in Greek life, student activities, residence life, and academics. At The Ohio State University, Kate provided curriculum development and classroom instruction in the First-Year Writing Program. She also coordinated the University Writing Center, managing a team of graduate and undergraduate consultants, as well as assisting students with resumes, cover letters, and other career preparation materials. While pursuing her degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Kate worked in student activities and residence life at a small, liberal arts university downtown, focusing mainly on advising, leadership development, and program facilitation. Kate currently works full time as the Alumnae Engagement Coordinator for Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity Headquarters, implementing new programs and initiatives for Kappa’s 100,000 alumnae members and 250 alumnae associations.
