Travis R. Tafoya Joins Plaid LLC as Consultant

Louisville, Kentucky (April 1, 2021) –  Plaid LLC has announced the addition of Travis R. Tafoya to its team, who has joined Plaid as a full-time consultant based in Denver, Colorado. Tafoya’s primary role within Plaid – an organization that specializes in personal and organizational development – includes research and assessment, curriculum and instructional design, facilitation of the company’s programming, project management, and continued consulting on the topic of curriculum development.

Tafoya has over 4 years of professional experience working with international fraternity headquarters in a variety of roles both in educational programming and chapter services.  In his previous roles, Tafoya has served as the Assistant Director of Chapter Services & Education for Delta Kappa Epsilon’s Headquarters staff and served in Chapter Development and Educational Programs for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Headquarters.

Tafoya received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Human Services in Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and is finalizing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership focused in Higher Education from DePaul University this June. While at UCCS, Tafoya started his chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, served as student body vice president, and worked several student jobs from Student Life and Leadership to Pre-Collegiate Development Programming. These student experiences led him to pursue a career in educational leadership and organizational development.

“With the growing need for integrated and comprehensive educational programming, Travis possesses the skills to develop advanced levels of instructional design,” said Doug Opicka, Managing Partner at Plaid. “Travis brings a unique perspective to curriculum building and demonstrates impressive technical design attributes that satisfy the complicated needs of today’s learners.”

Tafoya is originally from Eagle, Colorado.  He enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. He is a proud member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity where he serves as volunteer regional volunteer president for the Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah region supporting students, alumni, and organizational development.
