Plaid is pleased to announce that following the completion of a full curriculum review of a NIC Fraternity, we have been selected by a second organization to implement the same service.  Over a six-month period, Plaid partnered with an organization to assess each educational program offered to both students and alums. Reviewing curriculum can be a lengthy process but ultimately beneficial to the organization that prioritizes the education of its members.

Plaid was hired in the fall of 2016 to complete a curriculum review of the fraternity’s online and in-person educational programs.Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, Plaid gathered feedback regarding all educational programs by surveying students, alumni, and staff, hosting focus groups, collecting data on fifteen fraternities and their educational programs, and completing an in-depth review each educational program offered by the organization. Plaid partnered with the fraternity to define the criteria the curriculum was assessed on and to develop a process that met the organization’s project goals.

It is important for any organization that offers educational programming to periodically review curriculum and educational programming. A curriculum review provides an opportunity for an organization to ensure that each educational program remains aligned with the organization’s mission, current educational trends, and that best practices are used when educating members.
